Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility, a trust fund of the Asian Development Bank (“CGIF”) is pleased to announce the first CGIF-guaranteed bond in Cambodia. CGIF guaranteed 100% of RMAC’s KHR 80 billion fixed rate 5-year amortized bonds.

CGIF signed on 10 January 2020 a Risk Participation Agreement (RPA) with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to share 50% of the default risk on ADB’s investment of THB 3 billion in 7-year Green Bonds issued by Energy Absolute Public Company Ltd on 16 October 2019.
