Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Noriko Nasu is the Chief Executive Officer of the Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility (CGIF). Prior to joining CGIF, Ms. Nasu built a distinguished career at Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), where she served as an Audit and Supervisory Board Member. She has held a range of senior leadership positions at JBIC, including Executive Officer and Director General for Internal Audit, and led key functions covering environmental assessment, social infrastructure finance, treasury, project finance, and overseas operations, including as Chief Representative in New York.

Ms. Nasu brings over three decades of experience in international finance and development banking, with extensive exposure across the ASEAN+3 region and global markets. Her professional expertise spans project finance, bond guarantees, corporate finance, treasury operations, information systems management, and environmental and social safeguards, alongside contributions to multilateral cooperation through her work with the OECD Secretariat and other international financial institutions.

Ms. Nasu holds a bachelor’s degree from Keio University and pursued further studies in International Relations at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
